Utah Fun
While we were in UT we did tons of fun things. We got to see old friends, hang out with family and Grant was able to go to Wheeler Farm two times! Oh what fun. There are some pix missing from this post but we'll get them up soon! Enjoy!

It's a...
Alright, alright, you're not going to be able to tell from these pictures if it's a BoY
Or if perhaps it is a GiRl.
But you can tell that the baby is already adorable! So who will be joining us on the estimated due date of August 5th? None other than sweet, adorable, little Grace Olivia! Stay tuned for more updates...there is a lot to tell! :-)

Creations
Grant loves to color, play with Play-Doh, and he especially loves glue! One day we were coloring and playing with glue and Grant noticed his fish snacks sitting next to him. He glanced at them, then back at his paper, then once again at his snacks. He then put some glue on the paper and stuck some fish on top of it. He was so proud of himself and I thought he was quite creative.
Adam and I LOVE when Grant is drawing or playing with Play-Doh and he yells out what it is he has just created. The funny thing is that lots of times, we can totally see whatever it might be...a dolphin, fish, cow, etc. If you look really close at this piece of Play-Doh, you might be able to see a gorilla. C'mon use your imagination!

While Papa was here, he and Grant would "shave" with each other. Grant loved the shaving cream. Here he is putting it on his face. He wiped a lot of it off before I could grab the camera.
What does Grant love the most about our new apartment? The yard and the TRAIN! Here he is with Daddy standing on something to get a better look at the train over our brick wall.
Choo, Choo!!!! Grant loves to watch it and say, "Bye, people!"

Smartie Pants
Grant is learning and growing so fast! Every day he amazes me! Here are a few of the things he has been doing lately. If you don't like people who brag about their kids, then stop reading this post!
* Grant does a wonderful job counting to 10. He usually starts out 3, 2, 3 then needs help with 4 and sometimes 7. Other than that, he's totally got it down!
* Grant loves his A, B, C's. He tries to sign them and this is usually how he recites them with me...
G- A,B,C,D
M- E, F,
G- G,H, I
M- J,K,
G- M,O,P
M-Q,R
G- S, T, U
M-V, W, X, Y, Z
* When you ask Grant what color something is, he automatically answers red. But if you ask him to really look at the color he does a pretty good job. One day, we were playing with playdough and he saw some dots on the box, it shocked me when he started to list the colors...and he was right! It went like this, "Boo, bwack, pink, green, lellow, boo." Wow!

Playing Catch up
Here are some cute pix of Grant that I have been meaning to post for a while.
When Nae Nae came to help us move, she brought Grant a Nemo backpack that you can also pull. He loved it! One day when I was packing his room up, he found his old beach hat (yes it is way too small) and put it right on. He then said, "I go to school." I asked him to say cheese for the camera and he definitely followed my instructions.
Grant has loved "going" to school. He will get his bag and go to the front door and stay there for a few seconds then he "comes home" .
Oh how I love hearing what this sweet boy learned at "school". He learns a lot about cows, horses and bolphins (dolphins). Apparently, he also gets to ride a school bus. Who knew?!?!
Shortly after we got Grant's fish, he found the fish food. He seriously only had it for like 10-15 seconds before I followed him and this is what I found. All I could do was start to laugh hysterically. The lid was on tight! How can this little bug be so clever?!?! I think he was surprised at my reaction but he started laughing too.
He did a great job helping me clean up the mess.
What an amazing boy!

FINALLY
We are back! I have wanted to post something for the past few days but for some reason my computer wouldn't let me log into my blog to post anything. How annoying! Well, we are all settled. Grant seems to love it here and he especially enjoys his outdoor play area. We have met some great people and feel so at home. We definitely couldn't have made the move without Nae Nae. Grant now calls her "Mommy Nae Nae". It is so nice to have family that is willing to take time and spend money to come out and see us and help out. Papa even flew out for a few days and Grant thought it was so great to have him here. Grant still goes into our room and lifts up the covers and calls their names. So cute and so sad at the same time!
Managing at the new complex is going pretty good. We have had to deal with some unpleasant stuff. There was a man sleeping in our laundry rooms and utility room. Every morning we would find something unpleasant that he left us (urine or feces). Now, I know that it is part of life but does it have to be done on the laundry room floor or on walls? No, I think not! These kinds of presents and pregnancy don't mix. Trying to clean it up gave me the opportunity to discover some great bushes and trees. :-) Luckily, we have a great maintenance guy who tried to take care of everything with clorox and a power sprayer. Overall though, it has been great! We definitely couldn't be doing this without all of the help of Tyler and Cheer...thanks for all of the training, Cheer! Oh, and we must thank the police for their assistance late last night in making our night time visitor leave. A good time is had by all when you visit our apartment complex.
Seriously though, we will definitely get some pictures up soon. There is just a lot going on these days. In the meantime, here are some cute pix of Grant and his buddy, Isaac (from our old ward). Grant is constantly asking to see Isaac. It is too cute. And yes, Grant is still in his PJ's!
