So how much would you pay for this Belle cake?

If you are a 2 year old boy, this beauty is priceless. (He's goin' in for a kiss)

That's right folks, we went to a Young Women's fundraiser Saturday. They auctioned off desserts to raise money to go to girls camp. Well, we started the bidding at $5.00 and mommy ended it at $37.00- much to daddy's dismay. He was a good sport though. The blasted Kuhnen's kept outbidding us. But no worries, their 2 year old son ended up with a Sleeping Beauty cake. Adam was a little concerned that his Grant wanted a Belle cake. Bug was super excited and has been thoroughly enjoying it. Thanks daddy! You probably won't ever take mommy to an auction again, eh?!?!

Of course, Grant has been building forts. He LOVES to build them and he really enjoys just hanging out with Grace in them. They can sit in a fort together for 30 minutes plus! Grace is a pretty good sport and Grant is great to include her.

Pardon their crazy hair...it was still early in the morning :-)

And here is my big boy on his first day of preschool. (Wipe a tear) Now let me just say that I have never wanted to send Grant to preschool and I am having a REALLY hard time with it. We have been doing 'Mommy Preschool' and love it! I am just not ready to have my baby be away from me for 3 hours (1 day a week) and I also have a really, really, really hard time justifying spending money for someone to teach Grant something I can teach him with even more attention. (Sorry for the ranting...back to the story). No wait, I am not done...please keep in mind that preschool in our area is NOT cheap! Anyway, why is he in preschool? Well, Gracie starts group on Thursday and it is the one therapy that I will not be able to take Grant to. The center where Grace receives therapy has a preschool so they encouraged me to put Grant in for 1 day a week, during the time Grace and I are in group. Grant had a trial run on Tuesday and seemed to like it so we will see.

Gracie kept telling me, "Yay for Grant! Yay for Grace! Yay for group!"

"More mommy?" (Good signing butterfly)
