Brace yourself! You are about to view some pictures of the cutest boy EVER! I took Grant to The Picture People to get his pictures taken because there is a contest for Yo Baby yogurt. He got a free entry, a free photo shoot and a free 10 x 13 photo. I am all about free stuff!!!! The problem is that now I want to buy every single picture. :-) If you are wondering why there are so many pictures with Grant pulling his classic pose (Where is the _____?), it is because he wanted to know where the horses went. That's right, there were some horse rides outside the studio and he is obsessed with horses. Need I say more? Enjoy! Oh and pardon that every picture has Zazzle across it.

B-Ball Baby

Grant LOVES basketball! Daddy took him to the park to play ball on Labor Day and Grant was so excited.
Bug chose to wear his shirt with a basketball on it. He also wore some basketball shorts that closely resembled his Daddy's. Unfortunately, he has grown out of his nikes so he had to settle for flip flops.
Grant enjoyed chasing the ball around the court.
He also enjoyed picking things up off of the court.A nice, older man let Grant play with a tennis ball. Gosh, tennis and basketball...could Daddy be any prouder?

Funny Moment

One of my little Sunbeams made me laugh so hard today. We stood up to sing I Hope They Call Me on a Mission and he got so excited. Then he turned to me and said, "I'm gonna throw some of my dance moves in." Zachary then did a nifty little spin and proceeded to act like a ninja. As I tried not to laugh, I suggested that he save his dance moves for later. Luckily, he went along with the suggestion.

Grant on the Move

We're just testing to see if we want to add more videos in the future. This movie is of Grant when he was just learning to move around by himself back in May. If you have issues seeing it or have recommendations, please leave a comment or email us and we'll see if we can improve your viewing pleasure.

Labor Day Weekend

We know, we know...more beach pictures. What can we say? We love the beach! That's right, over the weekend, we went down to Santa Cruz to Natural Bridges Beach. It was awesome and was kind of like our own personal beach for the first little while.
Grant enjoyed watching the birds on top of this arch. It was beautiful to see the waves crashing into it.
There as a dead sea lion that has been there for over a week (our friends had been there the weekend before when it washed up on the beach). That was pleasant!

Of course, Bug had no fear of the ocean. It was all we could do to stop him from running into the water.
At one point, a huge wave went up on the beach and got a ton of people wet...along with their stuff. Luckily, our stuff was a ways back! We were down by the water when it happened and it was kind of scary for a moment. Grant didn't seem to mind though! The water kept splashing Grant in the face but it didn't slow him down!. By the end of our time at the beach, Bug was freezing! He was shivering but he kept crying to get back in the water. He cried, and cried when we started to head back to the car. Luckily, he eventually saw a kite and that distracted him.

Seeing Grant's little footprints in the sand is too cute!

Mommy's Little Helper

Grant loves to help! Especially when I vacuum or unload/load the dishwasher. Although, when I load the dishwasher, Grant is usually unloading it just as fast. Seriously though, we are amazed at how well Grant follows directions. The other day Grant and I were in his room and I asked him to do the following: Go in the living room, get his shorts, bring them back in to his room and put them in his bottom drawer. He did it...and fast, too! He didn't even pinch his fingers when he opened and shut his bottom drawer.

SunMEAM

Grant "learned" Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam on the way to church yesterday. It is so adorable. We pause after sun and he says, "Meam!" We wish you all could hear it. Maybe Adam can get it on video and we can figure out how to post it. Grant also enjoys singing Old McDonald Had a Farm. It is so fun that he is learning so much.
