Today was a good day. Especially for Grant. It seems that today's theme song was, "C is for cookie. That's good enough for me!" Grant had eaten quite a few cookies so I told him no more and moved them up onto the microwave. I walked out of the kitchen and heard the chair moving. I peeked around the corner and saw him working extremely hard to get the chair in the right place so that he could get up and get a cookie. It was so cute...and he was working so hard...I couldn't stop him.

He was
successful in his endeavors.

We also got a special treat when the Ballard's and Ritchie's came to see us. We were all supposed to go to the beach but we backed out when we saw how cold it was supposed to be. We would have loved to go but Grace has been sick. So, the
Wymount clan came to us! Aren't they great!

Grant had a blast playing with Madelyn, Celeste and
Hadlie.

He would have liked them to stay forever!

It was fun to see them all together. We wish we lived a bit closer to them. Although, an hour drive isn't too bad! Thanks for coming guys!

The other reason it was a good day is because Gracie managed to keep herself out of the hospital. She has been sick for quite a while and I have taken her to the doctor a million times (okay not that many). I took her to urgent care tonight because she had started wheezing and her cough had gotten worse. Adam and I both felt like we should have her checked again even though she started
amoxicillin yesterday for a possible ear infection and sinus infection. Well,
tonight's visit almost got her admitted to the hospital. She has pneumonia. The doctor initially told me she would have to be admitted so she could get started on IV antibiotics but then he talked with another doctor and they decided that it is mild enough right now that hopefully the
amoxicillin will take care of it. Along with some
albuterol. If that doesn't work then it's back to the big house for Gracie. She'll pull through for us....she always does! So ya, it was a good day.

That was a great day! We are very thankful that Gracie gets to be home tonight too. We had a lot of fun today visiting you guys. Grant was so nice to share all of his toys with everyone. If you want Grant to stop eating so many cookies you need to stop making cookies that taste so good. Thanks again for letting us come and visit. Get better soon Gracie.
I'm so happy you guys had a little reunion, and that through the means of blogstalk that I could witness it ;)
I'm sorry to hear about sweet miss Grace, we're all crossing our fingers that she'll get better really soon!
I'm glad to hear that Grace was able to stay out of the hospital. I love the latest pic of her, she is so cute!!
Sounds like you guys have been up to alot! Little boys are so funny! I am so glad that Grace didn't have to spend another night in the hospital, I hope that she is back to new soon. Also, I gave you a blogging award, check out my blog!
Poor Grace! I hope she gets to stay out of the hospital! Good luck and we'll keep her in our prayers.
Seems like a lot of little ones are getting pneumonia these days. Poor little Gracie. That is so miserable. I hope she gets better soon!
P.S. Way to go Grant on the cookies!
We really had a great time spending our afternoon with you. The cookies really were good, so I don't blame Grant at all for wanting more. We are sorry that Gracie has pneumonia, but we are also glad that you found it so it can be cured. Hopefully she feels better soon. Thanks Grant for big-bad-wolf blowing me all over the yard. We definitely need to get together more than once a year. :)
I hope Gracie get better fast. That is so scary and what a worry for you guys. I better call Grandma and see how she is doing? Have a Happy Birthday Jaci...
