Here is a look into Grant's morning:*He wakes up and talks until Mommy comes in (yes, Daddy is sleeping still and doesn't even know that Mommy has left or that his son has been talking for about 10 minutes) :-)
*He holds up one of the stuffed animals in his crib for Mommy to kiss.
*He and Mommy enjoy an interesting book of Bug's choice.
*Then...without fail...Grant says "Horse? Dad?" Then gets off Mommy's lap to look for the horse as he makes clicking sounds and says, "Neigh!"
*He is distracted for about 3o minutes while he fulfills his duties as a running coach. After that Daddy has to gallop around the apartment while he holds Grant and the stick horse. Thank goodness Daddy is such a good sport!
Good times! Good times!
Grant wouldn't sit still long enough for Mommy to do up the buttons on his shirt. Some things are just more important.
