Grace went to a trial dance class on Saturday and stole the show!
Getting her hair put in a bun
She did surprisingly well. She followed instructions for the most part and it was fun to watch her as she processed what she was being told.

It took her a few minutes but she eventually got it. It was funny to see and hear all the other parents focus on Grace. What can we say, when she is around, other kids don't have a chance. Just kidding! (Well, sort of).

Seeing her next to the other 2 year olds was fun, she really is so tiny.

Speaking of tiny, her feet are so small they have to special order her ballet shoes and even those will still be a bit too big.

Adam and I went back and forth on if we should put her in dance. Since I danced and taught dance, I really could teach her the same stuff but we felt like it is important for her to be around some other kids.

I think she will enjoy it and it will be really good for her. Her therapists have also mentioned that they think it will really benefit her.

Besides, she LOVES music and has always LOVED to shake her little booty.

My favorite part of the day was when she started doing
pliƩs...it melted my heart!!!
Another one of my favorite parts? Seeing how supportive Grant was. He was excited to go and watch her. However, he is pretty critical! He kept saying, "Why isn't she doing what she is supposed to?" And when we said, "Didn't Grace do such a great job, Bug?" He said, "Not really!" He did think she looked cute though!

I can't wait to see how she does again next week. And tomorrow, it is Bug's turn. He will start a basketball class. The jury is still out on if he is excited or not. He goes back and forth on an hourly basis. We'll let you know!

I can't believe how great she did!! First of all, I missed the previous post about her walking so I was very impressed to see her doing that as well. And to watch her do what the rest of the class was doing brought tears to my eyes. She is so amazing!! Now I want to sign Ella up :)

Oh man that was so stinking cute! What a doll. I am SO proud of both of you! It is a big job to hand over our kids to someone else sometimes. It looks like such a sweet little place though. Perfect for our sweet little Gracie.
