Last weekend Grant said to me, "I want a tennis racket." So, we went and got him one then headed to the park to play. After all, it was 86 degrees! So here are some pictures of our day at the park. Grant is indeed the "highlight of [our] day" and whenever we hear this song it makes us think of our amazing little bug. Hopefully we will always be able to remember all of the great times. Cue music..."[We're] taking pictures in [our] mind so we can save 'em for a rainy day..."

I just have to say that Grant cracks me up! Nathan and I were just reading all of his funny sayings and laughing. It makes us so excited for Tate to start talking!! I just know he has lots of funny stuff to say but we just don't understand it yet!
PS- I miss you and have been thinking a lot about you lately. You can be expecting a call from me when I need some Jaci time...
I can't believe how big he is getting. I wish we could just stop our boys in time.
What kind of little boy asks for a tennis racket? That is so funny. It seems you're raising a sharp one Mrs. Jack. Hope all is well. Loves Amber Jo
Looks like he's into just about everything imaginable! Lucky you! He's very cute!! I love the little things that he says too.

Katie...if you read this it is not too late to call my dad. He would appreciate any help he can get! I told him to give you a call, too! It's great to hear from you!
Hey, I am so glad you checked our blog! I am addicted and kind of a "stalker" myself. I have reconnected to some long lost friends that way so it is totally worth it! Being an avid tennis player I am glad to see Grant starting young! I love tennis! Did you see Jenni's blog? She received an award for her work with Children with disabilities. She will be a wonderful teacher--and mom. Thanks for the nice comments.
What a little stud athlete! I love the preppy polo and cap to go play tennis! So cute. Great pictures. I love that you made them into a video... very neat!
He is such a little tennis star. And I was just dying over his sayings! He cracks me up. And you need to post again. Its been what, over a week now?! :)
