We would like to announce that we have a new member of the family. That's right, Phoebe Philo Barrow joined us on Saturday. We feel kind of bad that Phoebe is a boy with a girls name but Grant is in charge. At first he wanted to name the fish, Kitty. When I asked him why he chose that name, his response made sense..."Cuz den I can pet it!" We have to constantly remind him that we do not pet fish! He is also quite concerned that we don't feed Phoebe enough. He is already a very good pet owner.
Let us tell how you how we came to own a fish. Grant and mommy were at the doctor's office and there is a fish tank there. Grant turned to mommy and said, "Hab (have) it!" Mommy asked what he wanted to have and he responded, "Hab a fish." Mommy said, "You want a fish?" Grant said, "Wa (ya)! Ask Daddy!" So mommy and Grant asked daddy and daddy said yes. He said we could go get it in a few days (thinking that Grant would forget). Grant did not forget and continually reminded us that we were going to "buy a fish" and "pay wif money." And so, enjoy the pictures of our cute little Phoebe!

We got some fish a while back. They are the best pets ever! Easy to take care of, and you don't have hair everywhere or have to worry about your house smelling or cleaning up after them. Carson loves to watch the fish swim around. Enjoy Phoebe!
How fun! I bet Grant loves it. He is such an adorable little boy. Let me know if Phoebe lives long. :)
He is such a funny little boy! I can't believe that he remembered that you were getting a fish and didn't let you forget. I love that he wants you to pay "wif money." I hope that little fishy can stay around longer than any fish I have ever had. Grant would probably be too smart to trick with another fish!
PS- I am really sad that we didn't get to connect while you were here. Dang Utah makes you sick. Oh well, maybe someday Tate and Grant can meet. Call me when you have the time!
Aww! Congratulations on your new addition. You must be such a proud mama. I am in love with Grant. I want to buy him a cat or something. Maybe that can be a present for when he and Summer get married...?!
