Conference Weekend

Don't you love Conference?!?! Adam & I can't believe that it has already come and gone. As a child, I couldn't wait for it to get over and now I wish that it wouldn't end. Anyway, as usual Grant kept us laughing this weekend. Here are a few of our favorites:

* On Thursday, Grant pulled out the Ensign with all of the talks from April. He found the page with all of the General Authorities and was quick to point out Hincks. We showed him Pres. Monsen and Pres. Faust and explained that Pres. Faust lives with Jesus now (and Naenae's dog Wooley). He seems a bit obsessed with Pres. Faust now, maybe because it is easy for him to say. Whenever you mention Pres. Hinckley, Grant asks for Foust. Last night we taught him how to say Eyring. Then tonight, we were trying to get him to say Monsen and Eyring. After naming each of them he said with a smile, "Hincks!" We were impressed he associated the counselors with Pres. Hinckley!

*During one of the talks we were sitting on the couch. Mommy started saying the 1st Article of Faith slowly to see if Bug would repeat any of it. When she said, "...in His Son Jesus Christ" pause...Bug said, "Amen!"

* Mommy or Daddy: "Grant, what does a squirrel say?" Grant: "Beeda, beeda, beeda!" There ya have it folks.

We also did a lot of organizing this weekend. Part of that included putting away summer clothes and pulling out sweaters. Grant was quick to help. He seemed to especially enjoy the empty container that he could 'swim' in.

Mommy sneezed and Grant reinacted it. AAATCHOO!!!
